Tom Fuertes
Tom Fuertes moved up from Houston in 04 to attend the University of Texas at Austin. Graduating May 08 with a Management Information Systems Degree from McCombs School of Business, he decided to stay in Austin to work on his co-founded online rent-to-own real estate venture. After working with several friends and developers from college building iRentToOwn.com, he started working on external freelance projects. Realizing that Tom loved the thrill of the startup, he parted ways with the currently fully corporate iRentToOwn.com. Tom then decided to pursue a full time career in small business web design and development.
Last year, he met a girl: "If I ever start a band, it's going to have the most awesome name: NoTambourine. But the catch is, I'm not sure if we'll have a tambourine or not." Thus became the time that NoTambourine was born.
Alex Sexton
Alex graduated in 2008 with a degree in Computer Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin. Alex and Tom met in the MIS 333K (web development) course offered through the business school. Though it was in Tom's degree plan, Alex took the course as an elective... Thus began the "IT crush". Alex and Tom worked together at the online real estate website and Alex is currently employed full time at a competing web design and consulting company in Austin. Tom hopes to build NoTambourine up enough to get Alex on full time soon.
